Cherry Focus

Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Cherry Focus collects when you visit thecherryfocus.com, fill in one of our forms, respond to one of our ads or work with us, and what we do with it. We follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

01Who we are

Cherry Focus is a design studio based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and a trading name of MWA Marketing Management, a sole establishment licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (licence no. 1651327). In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean MWA Marketing Management trading as Cherry Focus. We decide how your personal data is used, so we are its "controller". For any privacy question or request, email ali@thecherryfocus.com.

02What we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form or our free landing page form, or email, call or message us, we collect what you share, such as:

  • your name, email address and mobile number
  • your business category, business details and budget
  • your message, and anything else you choose to tell us

Information collected automatically. Our website uses its own analytics tool to understand how people use the site. It records:

  • the pages you visit, how long you stay, how far you scroll and where you click
  • which form fields you use and for how long (never what you type, unless you send the form)
  • the website or ad that sent you to us, including campaign tags in the link (for example from Google, Instagram or Facebook ads)
  • your device type, browser, operating system, screen size and language
  • your approximate location (country and city), worked out from your IP address
  • a shortened version of your IP address, with the last part removed so it can't identify your connection
  • random visitor and visit IDs stored in your browser, so we can tell new visitors from returning ones

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and this analytics only runs if they accept. Everyone else can switch it off at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

We do not take payments on this website, and we do not collect sensitive data such as health or financial information.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similar effects on you.

04Advertising on Google and Meta

We advertise on Google and on Meta's platforms (Facebook and Instagram). When you click one of our ads, the link carries campaign tags that tell us which ad brought you to the site.

If you send us your details through a lead form inside Google, Facebook or Instagram, we receive what you submit and use it as described in this policy. The platform also handles that information under its own privacy policy.

We may use measurement and remarketing tools from Google and Meta (such as the Google tag or Meta Pixel) to see which ads lead to enquiries and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. These tools set their own cookies and only run after you accept cookies. Google and Meta process that data under their own policies:

We may also give Google or Meta a hashed (scrambled) copy of an email address or phone number to measure ad results or build an audience. We only do this where you have agreed to it or the law allows it.

05Who we share it with

We share personal data only with companies that help us run our business. They may use it only to provide their service to us:

  • Vercel hosts our website (United States)
  • Turso stores our website database (United States)
  • Resend sends our form notification and confirmation emails (United States)
  • Google Workspace for our business email
  • Anthropic helps us analyse website statistics. It only ever receives totals and trends, never your name, email or phone number
  • advertising platforms, as described above

We may also share data with our professional advisers, with the authorities if the law requires it, or with a buyer if our business is ever sold.

06International transfers

Some of the companies above store data outside the UAE and the EU, mainly in the United States. When that happens, we rely on their data protection terms and recognised safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to keep your data protected to the standard the law requires.

07How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't go ahead: up to 3 years after we last heard from you
  • Clients: for as long as we work together, then as long as UAE law requires us to keep business records (usually 5 years)
  • Website analytics: up to 26 months

After that we delete the data or make it anonymous.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • correct it if it's wrong
  • delete it
  • limit how we use it, or object to how we use it, including for marketing
  • send it to you or another company in a common format
  • withdraw your consent at any time. This doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it

To make a request, email ali@thecherryfocus.com. We'll reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first. You can also complain to your data protection authority. In the UAE that is the UAE Data Office; in the EU, your national authority; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

09Security

Our website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to our systems is password-protected, and we only work with reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will act quickly if something goes wrong.

10Children

Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a major change, we'll make it clear on the website.
